Abstract
Recent advancements in cardiovascular imaging have significantly enhanced the diagnosis and management of atherosclerosis, a leading cause of cardiovascular disease. Techniques such as coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET) have improved our ability to detect and quantify atherosclerotic plaques, assess their stability, and predict adverse cardiovascular events. This review explores the latest developments in imaging modalities, their clinical applications, and the implications for personalized patient care.
